Best of 2016!

I've always said that
The only time you should ever look back, is to see how far you've come.
2016 was one hell of a year. I've hit rock bottom, but guess what comes after being on the low?
Suddenly a pair of hands miraculously bring u back to the highest top!
One sentence that I strongly believe in and was proved solid rock to me throughout the year is
船到桥头自然直 - everything works out in the end.
Phuket' 2016

My 2016 kicked started pretty damn well.
I started my online business right on January and the product got my business blooming was
April Skin Magic Snow Cushion! I'm pretty sure every girls have heard of it huehuehue!
This opportunity landed on my laps when an online cosmetic shop from KOREA contacted me for a collaboration to review April Skin and Nake Up Face. April Skin cushion already started it's hype at the time I was super excited to try it out! When the parcel arrived.. ohmygod, it is the best freaking cushion I have ever used! After some consideration, I decided to contact the shop and asked them for wholesale supply details.

Still remember my first order was only 6pieces lol because I wanted to try out and see if anyone would wanna buy from me since I was never an online seller anyway. I was so afraid that no one does and I would stuck forever with the cushions which aren't even in my shade. Surprisingly, things went really well and the responses were unbelievably good! I sincerely thanked everyone believed in and supported me ✌

And yes, the stocks were ALL THE WAY FROM KOREA. I made so many transactions overseas to the point that the banks I used practically blocked my cards and accounts. I had started the adult life of running between banks and shits, spent all day replying customers' messages, running back & forth  to pos laju everyday, didn't get enough sleep cus TOO stressed worrying the stocks couldn't arrive in time. It was a nightmare but all worth it. Taking care of a small business you own and ensuring the buyers are satisfied with your products, I got to learn a lot and lucky for me, my bestfriend Michelle guided me a lot as well.

In March, I enrolled in INTI College to continue pursuing my degree. Nothing really happened in between, I literally got caught up with classes, assignments, and tests, countless tests. Pff, college life.
Oh ya, I stopped my online business at the mean time. Not only because that I couldn't take care of both at once, but mainly because of April Skin's hypes were fading away slowly as well.. So I figured, what the heck. Better to focus on my studies man.

Fast forward to July, I had the most amazing birthday party which I blogged the entire post here:
My 21st Birthday Party!    *click in to see more
I raved about the party enough in the blogpost itself, so I'm gonna do anymore here :b

Right after my birthday party, it was the beginning of my semester break! Lucky for me to have my entire birthday month off!  Wah I tell you, I watched SOOOO MANY people going on vacations, trips blah blah throughout my semester. I felt like a complete lifeless retard, doing nothing and living the dullest life.
So guess what I did during my semester break!?  YES.  TRAVELLLLLL!
Phromthep Cape' the most stunning checkpoint in Phuket!
Kata Beach' clearest water!
Surin Beach' balcony views right outside my room. #blessedLife

I travelled to Phuket with my cousin and it was a 5D4N trip, sounds long right?   Surely I had enough time to explore Phuket?    HELL NO!  We stayed 2 nights in Kata Beach, 1 in Patong, 1 in Surin beach (different areas).
Kata beach is the combination of beautiful beach, hips cafe, not so much of nightlife so it's good for relaxing yet you get to do a lot of activities; Patong beach is where everything is at, intense nightlife at Bangala Street, tiger shows, boxing contests, busy crowd; Surin beach is.. the place of serenity. Away from all the noises.
Phuket is so much cooler than what I had expected, wishing I can go back soon! I can literally spend a month there lol. We did not go drinking because my cousin sis doesn't drink, and two girls drinking in Thailand does not seem like a good idea OH. Or else you'll be seeing me in newspaper the next day OH. But I really wanna experience the nightlife there, so hopefully my next trip to Phuket is with my party squad!

Funny story: floaties are cute for photos but they can fucking endanger your life.  Was trying to get some shots on it but it was so hard to climb on, and float away easily! And once u got on it, it floats uncontrollably. Lehma, I almost fell off the infinity pool and killed myself in Phuket. It's no joke.   (ps: photo on the left is the view from my room at Surin Beach Resort, my fave hotel of all!)

Organika cafe'

My first daigou trip to Bangkok with Michelle and Eva, they make really great team and the whole trip was enjoyable and fun! Despite the fact that we were all drained with the works(clothes-shopping for customers), we found time to enjoy ourselves and went to one of the most beautiful cafe in Bangkok.

Random ghost story
We stayed at this haunted hotel in Bangkok and darling, trust me, I am no joking. I went completely insane.  This thing followed me. Upon checking out, at the airport, I kept on hearing someone(girl voice) calling my name and of course I turned back without hesitations thinking my friend called me, but saw no one. It was so frequent until I got annoyed and asked Michelle "Oi! Why the fuck you keep calling my name?"
She scowled and went "I never called you also!!"
That was when I knew something was wrong.. And I visited a few temples after coming back and nothing worked. I get unreasonably tired everyday and can't do shits at all. Until my friend brought me to this Thai sifu place, the moment he saw me he knew what was wrong already. He gave me a necklace for protection and asked me to always be careful, I'm the type of person that attracts this kind of thing easily. The fuck right?
This kinda thing happened to me so often and I really damn sien ady lah.

Went to Singapore with my bestfriends, Simay and Weiwei on the first week of August. (yes I went traveling hardcore) It was supposed to be a nice and fun bonding trip but.. things went unexpectedly twisted. Hahahahah!  We didn't get to play around much, only to laze around all day because someone was all lovey dovey there! But it's okay. As best friends. we understand ;))

The next weekend after coming back from Singapore, it's the most exciting and long-awaited moment,
 Good Vibes Festival' 2016
 TA-KU!!!
 DISCLOSURE!!
The 1975!
Attended Good Vibes Festival with Joy and IVOR. Omg girls!! Thinking back and how glad I am that we decided to make it to the event! No one in the world would wanna go with me at the time, because none shares the same music interest with me, my friends always thought this kind of genre is freaky, weird, and everything nasty.(U guys lah nasty)  Thankful for these girls!! Otherwise I wouldn't know WHERE and WHEN will I ever get to watch all of these artists!  Probably when I'm 42..

The festival was held at Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands. It was halfway up the mountains. The venue was perfect! Due to it's strategic location(half the mountain) so the weather was super chilly and cold at midnight. WE LOVED IT! U know how usually music fest or rave parties can get really hot, humid and sweaty, accidentally rubbing your arms against someone else's sweaty arms makes you wanna die, or too fucking crowded it feels like you cannot breathe at all? None of that happened! The crowd was super cool, everyone stood so far away from each other during dance gigs so we can all enjoy ourselves. Plus the foods they have inside the festival were tasty and satisfying and most importantly, the tickets for both days costed only rm350 BRO! It was worth every penny! Looking forward for more music festivals like this in Malaysia xxx

At mid August,  new semester started already so.. there go again my dull life.

Taipei 101 & random photo of me..
 Ximending, Taipei

Gaomei Wetland, Taichung
My favorite attraction in Taiwan!
ZhongShe flower market, Taichung
Love Bridge Fisherman's Wharf

In October, I finally flew further than our neighbor's countries (Thailand&Singapore) for the first time! Hello Taiwan 👋👋 ! I'm so so proud to be able to bring my mom to a country she had always wanted to go! (guess you now know where I spent the money I earned from my online business) :p  Taiwan is the ideal place for family bonding and in summary, it was an amazing trip and everything about Taiwan warmed me. The street foods, night markets, the Watsons huehuehueeeee. The only thing that disappoints me is the locals were not as nice as how people raved about. Experienced some really rude ones but let's not focus on that! Hopefully I'll find time to sort out the photos really soon so I can blog about Taiwan in more depth!

(Lol just realize I have never blogged about any of the trip that I went on, it's either I didn't take enough photo or that I took too many I have around 2-3k photos from Taiwan wtf. Whatever it is, I'm just too lazy)

Djakarta Warehouse Project'2016
My party squad!
YELLOW MOTHERFUCKIN' CLAW
Blood for Mercy 😈

One of the best moment in 2016 was DWP in December(another semester break)!   🔥🔥🔥
I didn't really wanna go initially until they announced their complete lineup.. bro!?  How can I miss something that huge? Of course what added sparks to the event was the big djs like Hardwell, Martin Garrix blahblah.. but we couldn't care less about those lol. What makes me determined to go was the amazing lineup of trap DJs! Unlike all the mini music fests, they have 3 stages: one for your big DJs playing the mainstream musics, one for real trap shits, another for crazy hardstyle lovers. We practically stayed at the second stage because it was lit as fuck. Some of my friends went to the main stage for a while and came back complaining "Walao just playing radio hits all, it's like going clubbing in Penang" lol ain't nobody want that in a rave man. Thats why I've always said that.. Those main stream DJs are really.. 😊  My favorite sets were Lost Frequencies', KSHRM, GTA(damn good we literally went on fire), and of course, YELLOW CLAW!! Everyone was so on and sang along to all their hits.. What could possibly be more amazing than a good crowd?

What do I love going music festivals so much?
It's the only place in the world where you can truly enjoy yourselves, together with people who same the same music interests, really dance like a maniac and nobody cares because they are dancing even crazier! In there, you're the most carefree person in the world. The only thing u need to worry is the DJ's next drop, is it what u predicted it to be? HAHAHHA. It's completely different in clubs where people just go and do pattern. Just recently, I went clubbing with the same squad and the DJ's played some really lit tracks, the crowd stood still the entire night, but of course we enjoyed ourselves not caring what others do. Suddenly, some stranger from other table came forward to ask me "Are you guys on drugs?"  FUCK U LAH. Enjoying means on drugs.

B-story cafe, Bangkok

Another work trip to Bangkok the week after Jakarta!
There is no word to describe how tired I was.. I almost threw tantrums and wanted to give up on my Bangkok flights ticket. Yet I managed to put myself together and complete the trips! Another good memories with the girls since Michelle will be flying off to Australia for studies later in 2017 😢😢

Summed up my 2016..
You can say that I'm really really lucky because at the age of only 21, I was already able to enjoy life by traveling, buying all the stuffs that I want, eating foods that I desire not having to think so much nor to worry about my next meal,. Let's not compare with those who are living higher-standard lah, I'm already grateful enough. I had never thought that I'd get to live so freely at such age. Super blessed!
(No, I'm not bragging. Who am I to brag lol)

I may complain a lot on daily basis.. But I'm sure not everyone feels contented at all time. For example, when I just came back from Bangkok, seeing my friend goes to Korea(Michelle Si) and stuffs make me so jealous one hor, I'll say like "walao why people always traveling but I never get to travel!" till my mom hits me and say "hello miss u just came back!"  then only I'll realize.. WHY ARE WE HUMAN BEINGS ALWAYS LIKE THIS. Always forgetting what you have and focus on what you don't instead!
Don't do that. Look around, you already have more than enough, my dear.

Anyways, you can imagine the money I spent in 2016 wtff now totally 人财两空. I have a feeling 2017 is going to be really stressful and exhausted, the year already started like shit and the only thing I hope is that I don't kill myself this year. Who can say for sure? You'll never know what stresses do to people.
Welcome to the adult life.
2017 Resolutions:
1. Pay my own tuition fees
2. Clear out my PTPTN debts

ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY. Ptptn just blacklisted me so I can't travel no more till I clear it out. I know many of you have been telling me that since I'm still studying degree, I can delay the repayment. The fact is NO, what repayment means is that they only allowed me to make the payment after I'm done with my degree, no summons from mahkamah, no tindakan undang-undang only, and I still can't go overseas until the debt is clear!! I went to PTPTN offices 3 times to check with them already.. Really unfortunate of me. But I determined to explore more about Malaysia's attractions this year!  Lol.

Anyways, wish you all have a good year ahead!
 xxx bye
